The first day of matches featured a clash between GAM and PSG.

In the opening matches, MGN Vikings Esports (MVKE) started strong, defeating Chiefs Esports Club (CHF) in the first game. However, CHF rallied in the second game to tie the series. The decisive third game saw the prowess of marksman Sty1e shine through, securing a 2-1 victory for MVKE.

This win solidified MVKE's top spot in the Breaker group, propelling them to the Group Breaker round. There, they will face the bottom team from the Contender group, vying for a chance to advance.

The highly anticipated match between GAM Esports and PSG Talon followed. GAM dominated the first game with a cohesive and aggressive strategy. PSG Talon started the second game promisingly, gaining a significant advantage. However, critical errors by Karsa and Maple cost them the lead. Artemis's outstanding performance allowed GAM to swiftly turn the tables, concluding the match with a convincing 2-0 victory.

This victory secured GAM the third position in the Contender group standings, meaning they will face Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS gaming (SHG) in the next round. Meanwhile, PSG Talon must prepare for a crucial match against MVKE to keep their hopes alive.

Day two saw CFO assert their dominance and SHG overcome challenges.

The opening match between DFM and SHG delivered some surprises. SHG started impressively, winning the first game. However, they lost their footing in the second, allowing DFM to capitalize on mistakes in the top lane and even the score. In the decisive third game, SHG regained their composure and secured the overall victory, advancing with renewed confidence.

The following match, which determined the top spot in the Contender group, saw CTBC Flying Oyster (CFO), the mid-season LCP 2025 champions, demonstrate their superior skill against Team Secret Whales (TSW). Despite TSW's efforts, allowing CFO to use their signature picks tilted the game heavily in the champions' favor. The 2-0 result solidified CFO's first-place position, while TSW settled for second.

The Group Breaker stage will determine which teams secure playoff spots.

The Group Breaker matches will begin on Friday, 15/8, featuring two exciting matchups: GAM Esports versus SHG, and PSG Talon versus MVKE.

The winning teams will advance to the Contender group, virtually securing playoff berths alongside CFO and TSW. The losing teams will drop to the Breaker group, where they must fiercely compete for the top two spots to continue their journey.

Vietnamese fans hope to see all three VCS representatives in the Contender group and advance to the Playoffs.

Stage 2 of the LCP 2025 Summer Finals will take place over the final two weeks, from 15/8 to 17/8 and 22/8 to 24/8. Fans eagerly await the high-level matches and dramatic upsets promised by the Group Breaker stage.
