The cosplay contest, part of the LCP Finals Weekend 2025, will take place on 20/9-21/9 at Tien Son Sports Palace, Da Nang. The contest is open to all individuals 15 years and older residing in Vietnam with a passion for cosplaying League of Legends characters. The organizers are only accepting individual registrations to ensure each performance has a distinct personal touch.

The contest consists of three main stages: registration, public voting, and the final round.
Registration (12/8-25/8/2025): Contestants can register online via the LCP website. Each application requires 4-10 cosplay photos of a League of Legends character in .jpeg or .jpg format, with a maximum size of 2MB per photo, along with a description of up to 200 words. The organizers require that images do not contain offensive, obscene content, or other brand logos; additionally, contestants must own the copyright to the submitted photos.
Public voting (28/8-6/9/2025): All qualified entries will be posted on the website for public voting. Each person can vote for multiple contestants, but only once per entry per day.
Final round: The top 10 contestants will be announced on 9/9/2025. Three finalists will be selected based solely on public votes, while the remaining seven will be chosen based on a combined score (60% from the judges and 40% from public votes). On 21/9/2025, the top 10 will perform live at Tien Son Sports Palace, Da Nang - right before the final matches of LCP Finals Weekend 2025.
The final stage performance will include a 2-minute individual catwalk with music provided by the organizers. Contestants are allowed to use props up to 1.5 meters tall, which must not be sharp, and are encouraged to emulate the character's signature moves and demeanor.

Judging criteria range from costume to makeup and accessories.
The judging criteria consist of three factors:
- Character resemblance (60 points) – assesses accuracy or creativity while ensuring clear recognition of the League of Legends character.
- Stage presence and expression (30 points) – evaluates movement, posing, audience interaction, and portrayal of the character's spirit.
- Creativity and craftsmanship (10 points) – considers the materials, crafting techniques of the costume and props, and any unique touches.
The judging panel comprises representatives from the organizing committee and renowned cosplayers from the community, ensuring fairness and expertise in each evaluation.
Besides the opportunity to perform on a large stage at an international esports tournament, contestants also have the chance to win prizes with a total value of tens of millions of dong:
- First Prize: 10 million dong in cash, a commemorative plaque, and gifts from sponsors.
- Second Prize: 5 million dong in cash, a commemorative plaque, and gifts from sponsors.
- Third Prize: 3 million dong in cash, a commemorative plaque, and gifts from sponsors.
- 7 Consolation Prizes: 1 million dong in cash, a commemorative plaque, and gifts from sponsors.

The registration portal is open until 25/8.
The organizers have also established clear regulations regarding ownership of submitted works and will immediately disqualify any entries that violate social norms, laws, or engage in voting fraud.
The cosplay final round is scheduled for the afternoon of 21/9, starting at 2 PM. The top 10 contestants will perform from 2:10 PM to 2:30 PM, followed by a break for judging. The results and award ceremony will take place at 2:40 PM, concluding at 3 PM.
This is the first time a large-scale cosplay contest has been organized alongside the LCP Finals Weekend in Vietnam. The combination of esports competition and cosplay performances not only creates a visual highlight for the audience but also encourages the League of Legends player and fan community to become more deeply involved in the tournament atmosphere.
The organizers hope that with the appeal of the international tournament and the growing cosplay community, the event will become an annual gathering for League of Legends enthusiasts in Vietnam, while also contributing to making cosplay an integral part of domestic esports festivals.
Registration for the LCP Finals Weekend 2025 cosplay contest is now open and will close on 25/8. League of Legends fans who want to don the costumes of their favorite champions can visit esportsfan.net/lcp-finals-weekend-2025 to submit their applications.
With talented contestants, a reputable judging panel, and a grand stage in Da Nang, this promises to be one of the most notable cosplay contests of 2025 in the Vietnamese esports community.
